Anne Hodder, ACS, is a multi-certified sex educator endorsed by the renowned San Francisco Sex Information program and the American College of Sexologists International. Anne brings a fun, friendly and sex-positive teaching style to group workshops, college campus events, one-on-one coaching sessions and more and utilizes a non-judgmental and no-b.s. approach to help clients of all ages and lifestyles heal, learn and grow.
With an ability to convey complicated (and sometimes sensitive) information in an accessible way, Anne specializes in inclusive sexuality education, emotional intelligence, shame reduction, and healthy relationship management and successfully cultivates a safe and permissive environment in which to edify and empower.
A cum laude graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, Anne’s journalism and sociology background inspired a unique perspective of the public eye, which led her to work as a freelance journalist in the adult industry before entering the world of sex education. Anne received her first certification and endorsement by the renowned San Francisco Sex Information program and continued her training via the American College of Sexologists International and Planned Parenthood Los Angeles’s School Based Sex Education Program, where she honed a special skill for working with adolescents. She boasts a unique understanding of age-appropriate education, high school sex ed, critical thinking, and trauma sensitivity and, most recently, Anne brought her unique teaching style into the treatment community.
In addition to her work in high schools and via her private practice, Anne leads groups for clients recovering from substance use disorder, eating disorders, compulsive sexual behavior and other stigmatized illnesses.
